Office Admin / Sales Support

Job Duties
- Answering phones, providing sales support, and taking initial event inquires
- Supporting sales associates in the following ways:
- Getting the appropriate information during the initial contact with the client
- Placing orders for rentals, linens and all items necessary to fulfill full service events
- Following up, reaching out to clients for the sales staff throughout the sales process
- Scheduling tastings, walk-throughs and meetings
- Possibly attend professional organization events like NACE & WIPA
- Office duties:
- Managing office supplies, placing orders and picking up office supplies
- Keeping the office tidy for tastings
- Supporting the sales staff before and after tastings
- Making menu signs and labels
- Light filing duties for completed full service and retail events
- Supporting company culture by showing up as a positive, enthusiastic and professional team member
Requirements
- Office organizational skills necessary.
- Basic management for small office staff in the catering and event industry.
- Requires a general knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Event industry experience is a plus.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary range: $35-45k + benefits
- 30 hr work week: Monday – Friday 9:00 – 3:00, flexible during slower times

Account Executive (Sales)
Avalon Catering is growing and hiring! We are looking for an Account Executive to add to our sales team.

For more than 30 years, Avalon Catering has provided the Atlanta market with sustainable, locally sourced food and beautiful décor, along with a company culture that cares about our staff, our clients and our commitment to growth. Requirements
- 2+ years in catering sales
- Knowledge of Caterease required
- Work at least 3 days per week (Mon/Wed/Fri) in our Druid Hills-area office (or more if you prefer!)
Salary & Benefits
- Base salary range starting at $45K- 50K based on experience, plus commission.
- Avalon Catering’s million-dollar sales team just experienced our best quarter since 2019! We are busier than ever, with plenty of incoming leads generated from referrals and internet/social media. This role will have a strong opportunity for commission sales, with a growing client base and large earning potential.

Compensation & Benefits
- $18-22 / hour, based on experience.
