3 Unique Wedding Venues in Atlanta

3 Unique Atlanta Wedding Venues

When you see your wedding venue, it should be love at first sight. During your first visit, you should be able to envision the décor, taste the food and hear the music. Finding this magical moment, though, is usually the hardest part of wedding planning. We partner with a wide variety of stunning Atlanta wedding venues to ensure that you really do fall in love with your venue.

Here are a few of our favorite venues and a couple suggestions for complementary custom themes and menus.

Preferred Atlanta Wedding Venues

The people at our preferred Atlanta venues have been working with us for years. The relationships we’ve fostered prepare us to offer seamless planning and catering service for the wedding of your dreams. From simple, stylish themes to a custom, locally sourced wedding catering menu, our event planners know how to make these three preferred venues exactly what you envision.

Find Serenity in a Natural Setting

Located in Roswell, Georgia, the LEED-certified Chattahoochee Nature Center has a mission to connect people with nature and is one of our important partners in fostering environmental stewardship. The gorgeous meadow, gardens and lovely open pavilion make it the perfect spot to say your vows. Photos along the woodland trails and boardwalks will offer a fantastic green backdrop, and the pavilion seating includes breathtaking views of the Georgia hills.

Suggested theme: The outdoor space at CNC sets the scene for an enchanted garden theme. From recycled paper invitations to centerpieces made of natural elements like stones, moss and flowers, your garden wedding will be glamorous and environmentally friendly. Guests of all ages can also enjoy garden games like ring toss or corn hole while adults share cocktails on the pavilion overlooking the river.

Menu idea: A farm-to-table, family-style meal is a trendy catering choice that fits CNC’s natural setting. Just imagine your special day as you enjoy the following:

  • Crystal Organics African squash and goat cheese tarts
  • Pre-set salad of local greens, watermelon radish, spring carrots, parmesan crisps and a buttermilk vinaigrette
  • Verlasso Salmon, pan-seared and finished with a Moore Farms summer melon salsa
  • Sides could include crispy Yukon Gold potatoes with a black pepper-pecorino aioli or roasted root vegetable medley with pumpkin seed pesto

Be a Romantic with a Victorian Wedding

The Wimbish House is a historic Victorian home located in the heart of Midtown. The period furnishings, high ceilings and hardwood floors provide the perfect backdrop for a formal Southern wedding. Our theme idea brings a modern touch to this gorgeous space without adding too much décor.

Black tie with a pop of color: One of this year’s trends implements vibrant colors into wedding décor. While a black tie wedding exemplifies the Victorian period of the Wimbish House, throw in a modern twist by using a bright color in the bouquets, centerpieces or paper products. Take a look at a color inspiration board to see which colors look the best to you.

Custom menu idea: A formal, plated wedding dinner suits the mood of this elegant venue. We have menus selected for each season, but we can customize to your tastes. This menu draws on the rich flavors of fall and gets us excited for the colder weather:

  • Crispy Brussels sprout salad with apples, pistachios and crème fraiche
  • Pan-seared duck breast with house-made maraschino cherry jus, sweet potato confit, wilted mustard greens, and pickled trumpet mushrooms
  • Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream

Craft an Interactive Wedding Experience

Monday Night Brewing is an unlikely place for a wedding, but that’s what makes it so cool. The founders and staff of this craft brewery are young and hip, and they have some very persuasive reasons why you should have a brewery wedding. After looking at photos from a wedding held there in the summer, we are pretty convinced that Monday Night Brewing is perfect for couples who love craft beer and whose family and friends would enjoy a unique wedding experience.

Rustic chic theme: This theme may not come as a surprise, as it continues to be one of the trendiest wedding themes. However, we can’t help but think how beautiful the elements of a rustic wedding—mason jars, small lights and simple arrangements—would look inside Monday Night Brewing.

Menu idea: Chef stations are a relaxed way to offer lively guests a variety of farm-to-table items. The meals we serve are similar to Monday Night Brewing’s local craft beer—they both include simple ingredients with complex tastes.

Our “Chicken and the Egg” menu speaks to the brewery’s laid-back atmosphere. It features the following items:

  • Pan seared Springer Mountain chicken topped with grilled peach salsa
  • Grilled asparagus with sauce gribiche
  • Fusilli pasta with zucchini, herbs, chopped tomatoes, parmesan, lemon and extra virgin olive oil.
